Yoga can be an effective treatment for back pain. The poses can help stretch and strengthen the back muscles and connective tissue, which can reduce inflammation and pain.
Some poses that are particularly helpful for back pain are the Child’s pose, the cat-cow pose, the pigeon pose, and the bridge pose.
Below are some yoga postures and yoga sequences that will be helpful for your sore back, backaches, and morning stiff backs. These practices have been applied to me as well as to many of my students while guiding them for their back pain relief.
